This fish hatchery is located in Northwest Colorado, south of Carbondale. The hatchery raises and stocks several cold-water species including rainbow, and cutthroat trout. This position begins in mid September of 2025 (start and end date are negotiable). This position will consist of working up to 40 hours per week. Hours of operation are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm M-F. Housing may be available. In general, this position is designed to assist with the day-to-day operations of full-time hatchery staff. This is an excellent opportunity to receive hands on experience and training in the aquaculture field. Specific duties include but are not limited to:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position will perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling heavy materials. |
