Software Implementation Engineer AutoStore

Kardex AutoStore specializes in innovative automated storage and retrieval solutions. Growing fast in APAC, and we’re looking for a Software Implementation Engineer to join our Sydney team. This role blends warehouse automation, backend configuration/debugging/development, support and customer-facing project work.

Your tasks

What You’ll Do

• Configure, deploy & implement our Kardex Warehouse Execution Software (WES)
• Debug across databases, APIs, microservices & middleware
• Analyse logs (Apache log4j) and troubleshoot issues
• Work with automated system such as AutoStore and more + customer WMS/ERP integrations
• Train customers & provide Level 3 software support
• Lead on site software integration activities collaborating with commissioning engineers and customer
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to knowledge base documentation.

 

Tech Stack & Skills

• Databases: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Messaging: RabbitMQ basics
• Backend: Core Java, Spring Boot, Java Spark
• Debugging: Microservice layers, Apache log4j
• Bonus: .NET / C#, Python scripting, Power BI
• 3+ years in software deployment, integration, or automation systems
