Description
Work Setup: Monday to Friday, Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day wfh)
Location: BGC, Taguig
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Review financial records, monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Supervise and mentor members of the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development.
- Support cash flow management, financial planning, forecasting, and internal control initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads and external auditors to ensure timely reporting, audit readiness, and effective financial decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is advantage but not required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with exposure to financial reporting and budgeting.
- At least one (1) year of proven experience in a people management or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, taxation, and internal controls.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
