Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Region Ten CSB - Meadowcreek Day Services in Charlottesville, Virginia.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Provide direct support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in an outpatient day services program.
• Assist individuals with developing daily living, communication, social, and community integration skills.
• Implement individualized support plans while encouraging independence and personal growth.
• Facilitate recreational, educational, vocational, and community-based activities.
• Document services and participant progress using established documentation systems.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide consistent, person-centered care.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Starting Pay: $17.37 per hour.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to provide skills training and community integration support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience in human services is preferred but not required.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain if required.
