Description
We are working with a global business selling traditional and custom digital HD walls in the commercial interiors space. They're looking to hire a Director of Strategic Sales & Business Growth to continue expanding their team nationally and globally specifically for the Hospitality segment.
What You'll Do
- Cultivate a robust client base by focusing on new customer acquisition and strengthening existing relationships
- Provide customized solutions leveraging the company's gravure and digital product capabilities to meet specific client needs
- Track and analyze project pipelines and sales metrics to meet or exceed quarterly targets
- Offer forward-thinking solutions for continued growth across all wallcovering departments
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, project details, and sales progress
- Develop streamlined processes for customer interactions, including quotes and service communications
- Develop annual business plans that facilitate growth in sales and profits
- Work with sales teams to establish overall sales targets
- Quote large projects as necessary
- Track sales goals and report results as necessary
- Oversee the sales team's activities and performance
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation and detailed follow-up with clients on projects
- Continued development of the sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education
- Promote the core competencies and added value of the company's brands
- Understand the ideal customer and how their needs correlate to the company's products
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is desirable
- 10+ years experience in Commercial Furnishings is strongly preferred
- A track record of building, scaling, and closing B2B sales pipelines
- Ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals effectively
- Exceptional relationship building and communication skills across phone, email, virtual and in-person interactions
- Self-motivated and results driven, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Willingness to travel extensively as necessary to facilitate success
