Our Breakfast Cooks at Magnolia Glen create delicious, beautifully presented meals that help residents, guests, and associates start their day right. By delivering exceptional quality and service, they contribute to a welcoming, restaurant-style dining experience every morning.Schedule: Full Time| Monday – Friday OR Tuesday – Saturday 5:15am- 1:30pm
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr - $22.50/hr

What will I do every day?
- Assist in the production of creatively designed cuisine
- Cook according to menus, production sheet and recipes with consideration
- Maintain kitchen and food preparation in a clean and sanitary manner
- Deliver all invoices to Dining Services Director in a timely fashion
- Maintain records or meals served and records of food and supplies used as required
Qualifications and Skills:
Education/Experience:
- Required: 3+ years of experience as a Breakfast Cook in a restaurant, senior living, hotel, or similar food service setting.
- Minimum 5 years of cooking experience required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to fully support kitchen brigade associates
- Demonstrates understanding of Mise en Place through proper placement and preparation of ingredients
Special Requirements/Certifications:
- Must have 3 years of breakfast cook experience
- Must have Food Handler’s certification as required or being willing to obtain one.
