Location: Remote (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: £40,000 plus travel expenses
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Remote with regular national travel and overnight stays
Employment Type: Permanent

Service Users: Children and young people within residential children's homes and supported accommodation
Experience Required: Experience of auditing, inspection or quality assessment within children's social care
Who we are looking for:
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Auditor with a strong understanding of children's social care regulations and a passion for driving high standards across services.
You will have:

Strong knowledge of The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Strong knowledge of The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.

Experience of auditing, inspection or quality assessment within children's social care.

The ability to analyse evidence and make balanced judgements regarding compliance and risk.

Excellent report writing skills, producing clear, constructive and evidence-based findings.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with staff, children and young people.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver audits within agreed timescales.
-
The ability to work independently whilst maintaining integrity, objectivity and professionalism.
-
A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and the flexibility to travel nationally with regular overnight stays.
Who you will be working for:
Our client is an established provider delivering residential children's homes, supported accommodation services and independent schools across the UK.
Why this role:
This is an opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality across a national portfolio of services.
Initially, your primary focus will be residential children's homes and supported accommodation services, completing a minimum of two audits each week on a rolling programme to ensure every service receives a quarterly quality visit.
You will provide independent assurance against statutory regulations and internal quality frameworks, identifying risks, highlighting areas for improvement and supporting continuous service development.
The role is home-based but requires regular travel across the UK to conduct on-site audits.
