As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support daily operations by monitoring assigned areas, conducting screening activities, and maintaining a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. This role calls for strong communication, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols, and report unusual findings to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated access locations to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, facility issues, and/or policy violations within warehouse and distribution environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
