We’re currently looking for a Civil Site / Stormwater Engineer to join our growing team in our Pittsburgh office. If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, developing practical stormwater solutions, and collaborating with a team that values technical excellence and real-world problem-solving, you’ll fit right in.
- Lead the design, development, and review of stormwater management systems for municipal, commercial, and land development projects.
- Develop site grading, drainage, storm sewer, and stormwater management designs while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support civil site development projects from concept through construction.
- Manage stormwater permitting efforts and coordinate with local, state, and regulatory agencies throughout the approval process.
- Develop hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support stormwater infrastructure design and watershed management solutions.
- Prepare construction drawings, technical reports, calculations, and supporting documentation for stormwater and site development projects.
- Conduct field investigations and site evaluations to assess existing drainage conditions and support project design development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance throughout project development and execution.
- Apply sound engineering judgment to solve complex stormwater and drainage challenges while delivering practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in stormwater engineering, site grading, and drainage design.
- Strong experience with stormwater management design and permitting processes.
- Professional Engineering Designation (P.E.) in Pennsylvania.
- Experience preparing hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and developing stormwater management solutions for a variety of project types.
- Ability to understand the technical and regulatory aspects of stormwater permitting, MS4 programs, and land development requirements.
