Locum ACNP or PA-C - Neuro ICU

Locum APP Neuro Critical Care Opportunity – Albuquerque, NM

Neuro-Critical Care Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants needed for a high-acuity locum assignment in Albuquerque.

Assignment Highlights:

• Dates: Now - April 2027
• Pay: $140/hour
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off - Shifts: 5:30a–5:30p or 5:30p–5:30a
• 2 Providers on each shift
• High-volume neuro-critical care setting
• APP team functions with a high level of autonomy
• One attending physician on service
• Census typically 8–18, average around 12 with individual patient load: no more than 6 patients/day
• No specific procedures required, but must be comfortable with common procedures
• EMR: Cerner
• Paid travel and expenses

Ideal Candidate: New Mexico licensed, ACNP or PA-C with neuro critical care or ICU/Critical Care, or Neurosurgery APP who is comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with autonomous practice. DEA, BLS, ACLS
