Job Description
Job Summary:**
The Operations Officer at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of daily banking operations. This position involves processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to strict compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Process various banking transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
* Verify and reconcile transaction data, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and transaction logs.
* Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC).
* Assist in the preparation of operational reports and documentation.
* Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues related to operational processes in a professional and timely manner.
* Collaborate with internal departments to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
* Participate in testing and implementation of new systems or operational procedures.
* Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
