Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Surgical Physician Assistant (First Assist) for an established surgical team in Geneva, New York.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Serve as First Assist in the operating room alongside the Chief of Surgery, Vascular Surgeons, and Oncology Surgeons.
- Perform comprehensive pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up visits.
- Assist with inpatient rounding as needed.
- Coordinate communication between surgeons, referring providers, and primary care physicians to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide surgical patient education, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical management.
- Maintain accurate documentation while collaborating within a multidisciplinary surgical team.

- Base Salary: $115,000-$135,000.

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
- National Certification (NCCPA).
- Current DEA Registration.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- First Assist or surgical experience is preferred.
