Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Anchorage, AK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, property damage, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
