Job Overview
Our Client is seeking a hands-on, execution-driven Remote Technical SEO Specialist to own the technical health and performance of client web portfolios. Reporting directly to the SEO Manager, this professional will conduct comprehensive technical audits across multi-location franchise networks, diagnose traffic drops following site migrations/redesigns, establish clear development tickets, and verify post-fix performance outcomes. Working alongside web developers and content leads, this team member will ensure optimal crawl efficiency, schema implementation, Core Web Vitals performance, and search visibility across Google and AI-driven search engines.
Key Responsibilities
Network Audits & Site Lift Sprints

Conducts deep-dive technical SEO audits across multi-location and national franchise networks comprising dozens of WordPress sites and custom web platforms.

Establishes repeatable audit templates, automated processes, and standardized technical documentation to maintain quality across high-volume account portfolios.

Executes "Site Lift" optimization sprints for priority accounts—identifying critical technical bottlenecks, implementing high-priority fixes, and generating clear before-and-after impact reporting.

Architect local page hierarchies, multi-location site structures, structured data (Schema.org), and Core Web Vitals optimizations.
Migration Management & Technical Diagnostics

Diagnoses and resolves traffic drop-offs resulting from website redesigns, domain migrations, or CMS transitions.

Audits and configures redirect mapping, indexation rules, canonical tags, internal linking frameworks, and rendering performance.

Monitors crawl budget allocation, XML sitemaps, robots.txt directives, and search engine rendering behaviors.

Optimizes brand visibility for traditional search engines as well as generative AI search platforms.
Developer Ticketing, QA & Cross-Functional Execution

Writes clear, actionable technical tickets for web developers and content editors, outlining precise specifications to eliminate implementation friction.

Performs post-release Quality Assurance (QA) after every deployment to verify fix efficacy and track indexation/ranking movements.

Translates complex technical SEO challenges into concise, client-ready summaries and impact reports for Account Managers.

Hands-On Technical SEO Experience: 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on technical SEO experience (preferably within an agency environment) with a proven track record of driving organic performance.

SEO Tool Stack Mastery: Deep proficiency with technical crawling and analytical tools, including Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Ahrefs or Semrush.

Site Migration & Rescue Track Record: Demonstrated experience leading or rescuing site migrations, with the ability to diagnose, articulate, and fix indexing, redirect, or rendering breakages.

Web Tech & Code Literacy: Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, structured data (Schema.org), canonicalization, HTTP status codes, and WordPress CMS administration.

Multi-Location / Local SEO Expertise: Hands-on experience optimizing multi-location brands, local landing page architecture, Google Business Profile integrations, and regional search visibility.

Clear Developer Ticketing: Exceptional written English communication skills to author unambiguous technical specifications for developers and present summaries to stakeholders.

Schedule Alignment: Full availability for a full-time schedule with a minimum of 5 hours of daily overlap during US Eastern Time business hours (Monday – Friday, ET).

Remote Workspace Infrastructure: High-performance computer setup, HD webcam, headset, and a reliable high-speed internet connection in a quiet workspace.

Experience with scripting, data manipulation, or automation tools (Python, advanced Google Sheets formulas, or SEO APIs such as DataForSEO).

Background or familiarity with property management, real estate, or local service enterprise models.

Competitive Base Compensation: $2,200 – $3,000 USD/month base salary paid in USD.

High Technical Ownership: Direct responsibility over the technical SEO health of national franchise accounts.

Collaborative Environment: Work alongside an experienced SEO Manager, dedicated web developers, and expert content strategists.

100% Remote Infrastructure: Execute advanced technical SEO operations remotely from anywhere in Latin America.
