Food Service Supervisor
Grand Villa Assisted Living Community is excited to offer a unique opportunity for experienced culinary professionals seeking a rewarding change of scenery. We are currently seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to lead our dining operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff and dining personnel
- Plan and develop menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines and resident preferences
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to promote a positive and productive work environment
- Collaborate with management to implement policies and improve service delivery
- Address resident feedback and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare, assisted living, or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and resident preferences
- Culinary skills and knowledge of nutrition are required
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., ServSafe) preferred
