Day in The Life

· You'll spend your first 90 days in ELI University! Our training blends traditional classroom learning with side-by-side, hands-on experience right on the floor.
· Make outbound cold calls to identify and develop new business opportunities.
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships that grow over time.
· Build a pipeline through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, referrals and industry events.
· Learn how to coordinate freight shipments and provide transportation solutions for customers.
· Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities to achieve individual and team sales goals.
· Negotiate rates and develop customized freight solutions for customers.
· Manage leads, follow up consistently, and expand your book of business.
· Analyze customer transportation needs, pricing, and logistics requirements.
· Work closely with carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure successful freight movements.
· Participate in ongoing training focused on sales techniques, industry knowledge, and company systems.
· The above responsibilities and additional duties may vary as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Work Experience

· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Post-secondary education is preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn.
· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
· Basic computer proficiency and confidence using the phone as a primary sales tool.

Physical Expectations 

· Sedentary work – sit or stand at a desk, use a computer and a phone for most of the day.

· Visual – be able to see a computer screen, read reports and/or information.
· Pushing, pulling and/or lifting objects 25lbs or less.
