Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Hunt Valley, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
