Fulfillment Supervisor- Amazon

JOB SUMMARY

The Fulfillment Supervisor oversees daily fulfillment operations to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This position provides direct supervision and support to fulfillment employees while coordinating staffing, workflow, order priorities, and service levels. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to maintain effective fulfillment operations and meet quality and service expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, shipping, inventory movements, and order execution.
• Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and within established service expectations.
• Coordinate staffing, workload, workflow, and order priorities to support daily operational needs.
• Monitor and address operational challenges in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to fulfillment employees.
• Coach and develop employees through ongoing feedback, training, and performance management.
• Ensure fulfillment activities follow established shipping procedures, inventory controls, carrier requirements, GMP expectations, and service standards.
• Partner with Customer Service, Warehouse Operations, Inventory Control, Transportation, and Quality to support efficient order fulfillment and resolve operational issues.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, shipping, inventory movement, and order processing.
• Working knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory controls, carrier requirements, GMP expectations, and customer service standards.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, develop, and manage employee performance.
• Ability to balance staffing, workflow, service levels, and changing order priorities.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across multiple departments.
