Description
Creative Strategist, Paid Social
Location: New York, NY, in-office 5 days/week
About the Role
We're looking for a Creative Strategist to own the content we make specifically for paid accounts, such as Meta. This role sits between performance and creative: reading what's working every week, turning it into sharp briefs, and finding new content streams that help us reach new customers. This role is perfect for someone who lives in Ads Manager but cares just as much about how the brand shows up.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Insights: Review Meta results daily and weekly, and turn them into clear direction for the team on what's working, what isn't, what to make more of, and what to stop.
- Creative Briefing: Write tight, prescriptive briefs for our in-house creative team, photographers, and creators, covering format, shot, background, and hooks.
- Creative Mix Strategy: Own the balance of content types across layflats, on-model, GIFs, video, and creator content.
- Weekly Launch Cadence: Run a consistent weekly rhythm with our media buyer, launching a focused batch of distinct new ads each week.
- Launch Packages: Build the creative plan for every product launch and collaboration.
- Creator & Partnership Ads: Build out our creator program, briefing and managing creators and running their content as partnership ads.
- Content Sourcing: Find new, low-cost content streams, including customer and creator content we're tagged in.
- Reporting: Own weekly creative performance reporting, using AI tools connected to Ads Manager to explain why results moved and what to do next.
What We're Looking For
- Paid Social Experience: 3-5+ years in performance creative strategy, paid social, or growth at a DTC brand or agency, ideally in footwear, apparel, or accessories.
- Meta Fluency: Deep understanding of how Meta's algorithm uses creative, and comfort reading ROAS, CTR, CPM, and hook rate in Ads Manager.
- Strategic Briefing: A track record of writing briefs that turn data into great creative, with examples of ads you shaped.
- Creator Program Experience: Experience sourcing, briefing, and managing creators and running partnership ads.
- Brand Taste: A strong eye for lifestyle and product content, and the judgment to push performance without compromising the brand.
