Position Summary
The Director of Inpatient Nursing Services supports the Clinical Nurse Executive by providing effective leadership and oversight of day-to-day clinical operations through; development and maintenance of a mechanism to evaluate and improve the quality of care; improvement of patient and customer satisfaction; provision of a climate of collaboration between staff and other disciplines; staff participation in developing patient care policies/procedures/practices, and support of ongoing professional staff development. The Director of Inpatient Nursing Services provides leadership to nurse management that reinforces their support, creates ownership of goals, and encourages active participation in decisions that impact the hospital and the clinical operations of inpatient care. The Director assists in maintaining an environment which supports effective nursing care, and collaborates with other health professionals in the planning and management of care and quality improvement. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing required
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS Certification
- Eight (8) years clinical experience and mastery of professional or technical role/function
- Five (5) years progressive experience in nursing leadership

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $153,260.64 - $212,790.24 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
