Description
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in cloud-native architecture, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, and distributed systems engineering to support the development of mission-critical cyber operations capabilities. This role combines hands-on software engineering with technical leadership responsibilities, driving the design, development, integration, and deployment of scalable cloud-based solutions that enable the coordination and orchestration of complex cyber missions.
As a key member of a high-performing Agile team, you will work alongside architects, technical leads, developers, data scientists, and cybersecurity professionals to modernize legacy systems and deliver innovative mission solutions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, resilient, and automated cloud architectures while ensuring technical execution aligns with architectural objectives and customer mission requirements.
We’re looking for someone with a strong software engineering background, practical experience developing cloud-native applications and Infrastructure as Code solutions, and a passion for exploring emerging technologies across software, cloud, networking, containerization, and DevSecOps platforms.
What You’ll Work On:
- Develop and deliver cloud-native software solutions using modern programming languages, microservices architectures, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and deployment environments to enable secure and reliable software delivery.
- Lead system architecture and technical decision-making, ensuring solutions meet scalability, security, performance, and operational requirements.
- Integrate and orchestrate diverse software, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies into cohesive mission-focused platforms.
- Act as a technical leader and customer-facing SME, providing architecture guidance, technical demonstrations, and oversight throughout the software development lifecycle.
Join us. The world can’t wait.
You Have:
- 8+ years of experience with enterprise or cloud architecture
- Experience developing software using languages such as Python, Java, C#, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based architectures in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments
- Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or ARM templates
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, access control, security monitoring, and infrastructure automation
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps practices
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience supporting cyber operations, cyber mission systems, or national security programs
- Experience with SAFe Agile Release Trains and large-scale software delivery programs
- Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures
- Experience integrating third-party products and technologies into enterprise platforms
- Experience with platform engineering, GitOps, and cloud operations best practices
- Experience supporting customer demonstrations, technical briefings, and architecture reviews
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging platforms
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and secure-by-design engineering principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
