Founded in 1891 in Morrisville, Vermont, Union Bank is a full-service bank offering commercial, retail, municipal and asset management services throughout northern Vermont and northern New Hampshire.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our team as an Information Security & Governance Associate. The selected individual will support the Bank's information security, third-party risk, data protection, data classification, responsible artificial intelligence, and collaboration-platform governance activities. Working under the direction of the Information Security Officer, the position performs day-to-day program administration, analysis, documentation, monitoring, and cross-functional coordination. The role serves as a designated backup to the Information Security Officer for assigned operational responsibilities and helps translate security and governance requirements into practical controls appropriate for a community bank environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, risk management, data governance, business, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Two or more years of relevant experience in information security, technology risk, vendor management, data governance, IT audit, compliance, or a related discipline preferred but not required.
- Experience in banking or another regulated industry preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, data classification, data loss prevention, workflow automation, or AI-enabled business solutions is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or progress toward certification, such as Security+, CISA, CRISC, CISM, or Microsoft credentials, are desirable.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
Salary Description: $23-$27/ hour
