Food Service Assistant

Purpose and Impact:  

​​As the Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the food operations at OASIS facilities for USG, GOA, Contracted employees, and business travellers.​ 

Essential Responsibilities:  

• ​​Conduct assigned site custodial tasks in and around Dining Facility 

• ​Assist Cooks in Food preparation 

• ​Using Custodial equipment polishing floors and steam cleaning carpet 

• ​Conduct all actions to ensure a highly rated customer service is provided to customer 

• ​Ensure compliance with all sites environmental health and safety requirements 

• ​Report all low stock supplies to Head Chef 

• ​Any other reasonable duties as requested​ 

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: 

• ​​Ability to independently lift and handle items weighing up to 25 kilograms as part of regular duties. 

• ​Physical stamina and endurance to perform tasks that involve prolonged standing, walking, bending, or repetitive motions.​ 

​​Qualifications: 

• ​Certificate Hospitality 

• ​Drivers License 

• ​Australian or US citizen​ 

Security Clearance Required: 

​​It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance w/ Poly. ​ 

​​STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS 

• ​At least 18 years of age. 

• ​Able to fluently read, write and speak English​ 

​​This position is designated as a safety sensitive position.
