Scheduler - M-F 9:00AM-5:30PM

We’re looking for a Scheduler who enjoys staying organized, working with people, and keeping multiple moving pieces on track. In this role, you’ll coordinate a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures while working closely with patients, physicians, and clinical teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Coordinate and schedule a variety of OR cases and procedures; Open Upright MRI, X-ray, CT, and infusion appointments
• Manage multiple schedules and coordinate Inpatient Care Rooms for overnight patients
• Answer phones and provide helpful, professional service to patients and team members
• Create, document, and assign procedure codes for patients, physicians, and procedures
• Communicate with multiple departments to make sure schedules are accurate and patient needs are coordinated
• Keep information organized and up to date while balancing changing priorities
  

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:

• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
• A strong communicator with telephone etiquette
• Comfortable using computers and learning scheduling/EMR systems
• Customer-service focused and professional
• A problem-solver who can recognize and address scheduling issues
• Comfortable working with confidential patient information
  

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One or more years of medical experience, including familiarity with medical terminology, highly preferred
• One or more years of experience with insurance and managed-care contracts preferred

• AHA CPR certification required; can be obtained after hire
  

SHIFTS Five 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:30PM.

No Weekends. No On-Call. No Holidays.
