About this opportunity

You will join the CRAnE (Consolidated Radio Analytics Environment) team, a strategic analytics platform that supports Radio and Compute product development by transforming engineering and business data into trusted insights. The team partners closely with stakeholders across Ericsson and fosters a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

As a Data Platform Developer for CRAnE, you will build scalable, reliable data solutions that integrate diverse sources and power analytics used in product development decision-making. Your work will ensure data is trusted, accessible, and high quality, directly advancing Ericsson’s data-driven product development vision.

This position is also open to candidates based in Stockholm.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and integrations for CRAnE
• Model datasets that enable analytics, self-serve, and decision support across Radio and Compute
• Improve data quality, lineage, and reliability with automation and best practices
• Translate stakeholder needs into robust data solutions and iterate based on feedback
• Contribute to platform modernization and technical direction through proofs of concept and production delivery

The skill you bring:

• Strong data engineering skills: SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT development, data integration
• Hands-on experience building and operating scalable data pipelines
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, solve complex problems, and translate business needs into data solutions
• You enjoy complex data challenges, integrating diverse sources, and turning data into actionable insights
• You are motivated by building scalable data solutions that enable better decisions across product development
• You care about trusted, high-quality, and well-governed data that drives continuous improvement

Can be learned on the job

• Ericsson-specific data sources, processes, and tools (e.g., SQL Server, SSIS)
• Domain knowledge in Radio and Compute product development

Measures of success and impact

• 3 months: Onboard and develop new data extractions seamlessly into the product framework
• 6 months: Deliver measurable enhancements in data automation and integration
• 12 months: Lead major platform improvements and influence technical direction

Past achievements that will help you succeed: delivery of scalable data platforms, automated data pipelines, improved data quality, and business-critical analytics solutions; driving modernization, operational efficiency, and stakeholder value at scale.

Your Pay

The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

The salary range for this position is

Ottawa: $101,500CAD - $ 133,350CAD

Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Financial Security

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson’s Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee’s contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee’s contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two-times annual base pay at no cost, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time

Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, at least 3personal days, minimum 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
