What You Will Do

As a Logistics Engineer you will be part of an established, multi-discipline team supporting various Naval Power programs by developing integrated logistics services products including interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs), configuration data management/logistics configuration records and supply support data. The selected individual will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members, receive coaching and early career support and work with talented professionals in support of shared objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, technical data and/or OEM data for maintenance evaluation and collection of logistic data.

• Create accurate logistics products based on source documents that include specifications, Military standards, vendor data and engineering data.

• Research specifications and standards to support Logistics and Parts Engineering processes.

• Assist Logistics product sustainment with ongoing configuration updates.

• Develop written maintenance procedures with detailed instructions for the removal, installation and configuration of installed equipment.

• Input/research procedure/parts data into an Excel Model and/or relational databases.

• Interfaces with technicians, engineers, shipyard waterfront personnel and engineering managers to edit/validate developed logistics documentation.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following science curriculars: Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or other similar engineering or scientific major obtained by start date
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with queries, database management and creation, and comparative analyses of data.
• Experience with DoD Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) product development, including logistics records, provisioning and IETM data
• Ability to understand and interpret a wide variety of data including but not limited to: engineering drawings, parts lists, vendor data, technical manuals, rework instructions, change notices, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Ship Change Documents (SCDs).
• Understanding of system life cycle phases (concept, design, integration, test, deployment, maintenance, sustainment).
• Knowledge of Hardware Generation Breakdown or Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Hands-on experience with hardware repair and maintenance is a plus.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
