Description
Rebuilding a company for the AI era.
At Teachable, we power hundreds of millions of dollars a year in creator sales, and we are in the middle of rebuilding how this company goes to market; from the ground up, with AI in the stack from day one.
That means the sales motion you are joining is being written right now. We are instrumenting the funnel from zero, building signal-driven prospecting on top of AI tooling, and replacing manual research and hand-typed email with systems.
You would be one of a small number of people whose fingerprints end up on all of it.
Most sellers never get this shot. You either join a startup with no product and no customers, or a large company where the playbook was frozen five years before you arrived.
This is the rare third thing: a real business at real scale, with a product people already love, being rebuilt in public.
Teachable is a no-code platform for creators who want to build a more impactful business through courses, coaching, downloadable content, and community. With Teachable, creators can engage their online audiences and get paid on their own terms. Today, tens of thousands of creators use Teachable to share their knowledge and, to date, have reached more than 46 million students around the world.
Are you ready to join a dynamic, cross-cultural team at an exciting turning point in our company’s journey? Now part of the global Hotmart Company portfolio, Teachable continues to take the creator economy by storm as a true industry leader. Together, Teachable and Hotmart are delivering market-leading products that prioritize creator control and flexibility, alongside meaningful partnership and support from our team. If you have big ideas, relish the chance to challenge convention, and deeply believe in the power of creators to shape the future, we want you on our team!
What is the role?
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building user-facing features, improving the front-end architecture, and optimizing application performance to enable faster and more reliable product experiences. You will analyze existing interfaces, components, and user flows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. With guild insights you will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to design and implement new features, optimize code review processes, and implement front-end development best practices.
This contract is CLT and paid in $BRL.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting production web applications
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Solid knowledge of and experience with React
- Proficiency writing software used in a production environment
- Experience working on a platform with multiple services
- Excitement and motivation to expand your skillset and take on difficult challenges
- Team player mentality: highly collaborative, documentation-focused and recognizing how to balance asynchronous communications and virtual meetings
- A passion for solving complex technical problems in both new and legacy codebases
- A mindset of leaving the codebase better than how you found it
- Experience collaborating with multiple team members with varying experience levels to design and implement technical projects
- Ability to work and problem-solve independently
- A humble, collaborative, customer-focused, and highly curious approach to problem-solving
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in using Golang and Ruby in a production environment
- Experience on an engineering enablement or platform team or experience contributing engineering-wide initiatives
