As a Tax Trainee based in Barcelona, you will play an important role in supporting Arxada’s international tax operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience in a global organization, working closely with tax professionals across multiple jurisdictions. You will contribute to the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of tax processes while developing practical knowledge of corporate taxation, transfer pricing, and international business operations. This role offers exposure to a collaborative and dynamic environment where you can learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact from day one.
Essential Job Functions
- Gather and organize tax filing information for all legal entities across the business.
- Assist with data entry and the preparation of tax reports and related analyses.
- Maintain and update tax databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation.
- Create and maintain a listing of existing intercompany (IC) agreements.
- Assist with document collection and compliance-related tax activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain and validate tax-related information.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Tax function.
Qualifications & Experience
- Currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Available for a part-time internship (approximately 20-30 hours per week) and able to combine work responsibilities with academic commitments.
- Business fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning and taking ownership.
