Responsibilities:
- Accurately post vehicle gross, commissions and We Owe on each car deal.
- Verify that the cost of all finance products are accurate and make adjustments prior to finalizing the car deal.
- Ensure all down payment money is collected prior to finalizing the car deal. Ensure an 8300 for cash received over $10,000 is complete, accurate and submitted to the Controller.
- Clean inventory, We Owe schedules and dealership finance product schedules. Resolve aged We Owes over 90 days and issue refunds as needed.
- Collaborate with General/Sales Managers to review cost of sales adjustments to ensure accurate month-end reconciliation. Confirm vehicle counts and gross are accurate.
- Collaborate with General/Sales Managers on reviewing rebate schedules and aging.
- Finalize all dealer trades and wholesales daily, and in the correct month. Review any wholesale loss or gain with the General Manager.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of inventory and monthly floor plan statement to inventory.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalency required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good with numbers and figures, with an analytical acumen.
- Good understanding of debit and credit accounting principles.
- Strong knowledge of Google, MS Office and familiarity with accounting software (Quickbooks, bench, etc.).
