About Toll Group

At Toll, we do more than just logistics - we move the businesses that move the world. Our 16,000 team members can help solve any logistics, transport, or supply chain challenge – big or small. We have been supporting our customers for more than 130 years. Today, we support more than 20,000 customers worldwide with 500 sites in 27 markets, and a forwarding network spanning 150 countries. We are proudly part of Japan Post — www.tollgroup.com

1. Inbound: verify shipment documents against work order / PO; count and check incoming product per pallet (SKU, batch, quantity, manufacturing / expiry date, label) and perform the documented appearance check per pack type – cases (no crushed or soiled cartons, stretch wrap intact, no overhang), drums / kegs (no rust, dents, coating intact, cap seals secured), pails (lids seated, spouts not popped, no leaks), IBC (no drips, upright).

2. Record discrepancies and damage on the tally sheet / receiving report with photos; segregate damaged or non-conforming stock and inform the Leader and Administrator.

3. Collect samples for the BP laboratory when required (incoming stock from blenders / affiliates, slow-moving stock, tampered returns) and record the sample log.

4. Check that required labels / re-labels (including GHS) are applied correctly before put-away.

5. Outbound: verify picked stock against the pick list / D.O. – SKU, batch (FIFO/FEFO and batch-mixing rules), quantity, pallet build and labelling – and sign the documented double-check with the picker before loading.

6. Perform the pre-dispatch product appearance check per pallet / container (no leaks or damage, stretch wrap, correct labels) and the vehicle / container check (clean, dry, odour-free, floor and walls sound, door seals) using the checklist; reject unsuitable vehicles.

7. Supervise and count during loading; ensure the loading pattern follows BP procedure; take photographs of loaded export containers; seal the container and record seal numbers.

8. Hand over the completed tally sheet / D.O. to the Administrator so that pick / shipment confirmation and documents can be issued; review D.O. / tally-sheet discrepancies with the Leader.

9. Coordinate with the transport team and drivers on loading sequence, waiting time and document hand-over.

10. Assist in daily cycle counts and wall-to-wall stock takes as a counter / recounter.

11. Support receiving, labelling and manual handling tasks during peaks; help the Leader oversee packing, shipping and receiving activities.

12. Secondary duty – MHE support (when required by the Leader – Operation): operate counterbalance forklift / 4-prong drum handler to unload, put away, pick, stage and load cartons, pails, drums and IBC per WMS tasks, following the same standards and duties as the MHE Driver JD: perform and record the pre-use inspection before operating; drive within site speed limits with seat belt on, forks low, horn at intersections, respecting pedestrian routes; keep IBC upright; never carry passengers or lift people; park safely with forks down and key removed; report defects, damage, spills and near misses immediately.

13. When assigned to MHE support, keep checking and driving separated for the same order where practical (another checker verifies the load) so that the independent double-check is preserved; hold a valid forklift licence and BP site PME authorisation at all times and attend MHE re-training / re-authorisation as scheduled.

14. Maintain 5S in the checking and staging areas; follow all site safety rules and PPE requirements; report incidents and near misses immediately.
