We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to support an elderly gentleman living with dementia in his home. A quiet man who would benefit from a patient caregiver who can provide meaningful companionship, and attentive support throughout the day. 

This is a role for someone who is patient, warm, and dependable. Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia care is required, as the client responds well to calm, consistent support and gentle encouragement.

Pay for this position is $24 per hour.

Schedule: Three days a week (weekdays only)
Location: Guilford, CT
Hours: 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Companionship and cognitive engagement through conversation and activities
• Mobility support and fall prevention supervision
• Assistance with toileting and personal care, incontinence care as needed
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and household organization
• Transportation to appointments or errands (mileage reimbursed)
• Helping maintain a safe and supportive home environment

Requirements

• Hands-on experience caring for clients with dementia is required
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Strong reliability and professionalism
• Clear communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
