Description
About the team
Innovaccer builds AI agents for healthcare that automate administrative work, so care teams can get back to care. As a Senior Manager, you'll lead the team designing autonomous experiences for healthcare. You'll lead designers across related product areas, partner with product and engineering leaders to shape direction, and stay close to the work. Your impact will show up in the team you build, the quality of the experiences it ships, and the outcomes those experiences create.
Product Management at Innovaccer
The Product team at Innovaccer designs AI-native solutions for healthcare providers, payers, and government organizations: agentic workflows that automate complex clinical and operational processes, intelligent systems that replace manual work at scale, and data infrastructure that makes all of it possible. Every product decision here is a bet on what AI-native healthcare infrastructure needs to look like next, positioning Innovaccer as the autonomous operations platform leader.
If you think in systems, work well with ambiguity, and want your output to have real stakes, this team is where you will do your best work.
Build and grow the team
● Manage, coach, and develop product designers through regular feedback, clear goals, and career conversations
● Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, and team health. Build a team with diverse strengths and perspectives
● Plan design capacity with product and engineering, making clear choices about priorities and ownership
● Create a culture of trust, direct feedback, and accountability. Help designers grow their judgment and independence
Shape product direction
● Partner with product and engineering leaders to define problems, shape roadmaps, and agree on success measures across your product areas
● Use customer research, product data, and domain knowledge to challenge assumptions and guide decisions
● Bring coherence to data-dense clinical and operational workflows, including permissions
exceptions, and dependencies across products
● Favor small, testable releases. Measure usability, adoption, and task success, and improve the experience after launch
Raise the craft bar
● Lead specific, actionable critiques across interaction design, information architecture, visual design, accessibility, and content
● Stay hands-on when it helps the team move forward: pair on difficult problems, explore alternatives, and build prototypes
● Partner with engineering throughout implementation to protect quality, resolve tradeoffs, and address edge cases
● Strengthen shared components and patterns across Figma and code. Help teams reuse and contribute to the design system
Evolve how we design with AI
● Use AI tools such as Claude to explore ideas, prototype workflows, and shorten feedback loops. Help the team develop effective practices
● Guide AI-assisted experiences that make system behavior clear, support human review, and handle uncertainty, errors, and recovery
● Stay close to model capabilities and constraints, testing real behavior with engineering rather than relying only on static mockups
● Keep design reviews, documentation, and collaboration useful and lightweight as tools and ways of working evolve
