Job Description:
About the Role:
We are seeking a Maintenance Storeroom Attendant to join our team at the Princeton, KY facility, a manufacturer of quality crackers. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Maintenance, Production, and Engineering teams by managing the maintenance storeroom operations and ensuring materials, tools, and spare parts are properly stocked, organized, and readily available. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting preventive maintenance activities, and ensuring efficient plant operations through timely material availability and system accuracy.
You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming parts, materials, and supplies.
- Issue and document maintenance parts through SAP or other computerized maintenance systems.
- Create and process purchase requisitions for stock replenishment and new part needs.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and compliant storeroom environment in accordance with GMP and safety standards.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliations; identify and correct discrepancies.
- Label, organize, and store materials on racks, shelves, or in bins to optimize space utilization.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure parts are available for scheduled and emergency work.
- Support work order accuracy by updating issued parts, labor hours, and completion status in CMMS or SAP.
- Assist in maintaining preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) systems as required.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely, maintaining certification as required.
- Participate in safety programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Important Details:
- This full-time, on-site role is on first shift, with occasional flexibility to other shifts.
- The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $13.46 - 25.48 USD per hour. This is the lowest to highest pay we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary merit compensation award or bonus.
