The Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Creditors Clerk to join our Finance team.
This role is responsible for managing supplier accounts, processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time. Working closely with Finance and Operations teams, you will help maintain strong supplier relationships while supporting the smooth running of our purchasing and accounts payable processes.

The Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Creditors Clerk to join our Finance team.
This role is responsible for managing supplier accounts, processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time. Working closely with Finance and Operations teams, you will help maintain strong supplier relationships while supporting the smooth running of our purchasing and accounts payable processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
- Preparing supplier payment runs and maintaining proof of payments.
- Managing supplier account information and ensuring onboarding documentation is complete and approved.
- Monitoring and maintaining the creditors age analysis to support effective cash flow management.
- Ensuring all expenditure is supported by the appropriate approvals and purchase orders.
- Supporting month-end processes, including accruals for outstanding invoices and committed costs.
- Assisting with intercompany account reconciliations and payments.
- Preparing documentation and supporting records for foreign supplier payments.
- Maintaining accurate filing, archiving, and financial documentation records.
- Building positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders through professional and responsive service.
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, or Creditors Clerk role.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Experience reconciling supplier accounts and processing high volumes of invoices.
- Good understanding of financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Knowledge of VAT processing and invoice compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- A proactive, team-focused approach and willingness to support colleagues across the business.
- Experience using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
