Description

The Treehouse is a nonprofit, Waldorf-inspired program for children 6 weeks to 6 years, serving families since 2010. We steward a 1/3 acre forest garden where children learn outside in all weather for up to 6½ hours a day. Our focus is curiosity, security, beauty, and wonder, engaging the head, heart, and hands of every child.

The Role

Depending on your education and experience, you will sub in one, two, or all three of our classrooms. Shifts are on call or pre-scheduled. We need infant lead subs most, and we would love for you to join our Substitute Collective.

  • Respond quickly to sounds and spot dangerous situations
  • Work outside in all weather for up to 8 hours, including 90+ degree days. We close for snow days.
