Description
A reputable HR firm is recruiting a Business Development & HR Projects Lead to drive its business growth by identifying prospective clients, developing strategic business relationships, generating new opportunities and converting them into HR and human capital consulting engagements.
The role is suited to a commercially minded, energetic and relationship-oriented professional who is passionate about business, people and the HR industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS
- Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities across the firm’s service areas.
- Build and manage strong relationships with CEOs, HR leaders, business owners and other key decision-makers, positioning the firm as a trusted human capital partner.
- Engage prospective and existing clients to understand their business and people-related challenges and translate these needs into relevant HR projects and consulting opportunities.
- Work closely with the consulting team to develop proposals, presentations, scopes of work and tailored HR solutions, and coordinate the transition of secured opportunities into project delivery.
- Maintain and manage the business development pipeline, track leads and conversions, prepare business development reports, and consistently work towards agreed revenue and client acquisition targets.
The Ideal candidate must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, client acquisition or professional services.
- Experience in HR consulting, recruitment or other business-to-business services is preferred.
- Proven experience in building and managing client relationships and generating new business.
- Strong understanding of business development, lead generation and the HR/business landscape.
