The Cyber, Infrastructure, Data, Integration & Systems Team Lead is a key member of the Site Digital and Automation Leadership Team, responsible for leading this function. Reporting to the Site Digital and Automation Lead, this role works in close partnership with them to oversee the secure, stable, and compliant operation of Digital and Automation infrastructure within the manufacturing environment. The role works in close partnership with the Shop Floor Insights Lead to ensure the reliable, compliant, and efficient use of data across site Digital and Automation environments. The role establishes trusted, “AI-ready” data foundations to enable the delivery of innovative AI and analytics solutions for the site.
The role oversees cybersecurity, network, and infrastructure lifecycle and support activities to ensure Digital and Automation systems remain resilient, secure, and inspection‑ready, protecting critical digital assets and supporting reliable plant operations.
The role also leads execution of site-level data strategy, data standards, and system integrations in alignment with network and global standards. They ensure manufacturing data is accurately captured, contextualized against the enterprise data model, governed to GxP standards, and made available for site and enterprise use. This role leads day-to-day execution, lifecycle, and project activities related to data systems, historians, core system integrations, and local applications. The role owns the site data enablement roadmap and is accountable for advancing site data maturity. This role enables consistent data flows across core platforms while maintaining compliance, validation, and inspection readiness.
The role works closely with the Cyber Security & Network Group, the Global Cyber Security team, and cross-functional partners to support secure infrastructure operations, incident response, and continuous improvement at site level. The incumbent drives stakeholder engagement and cross-functional alignment across site and PNA network.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
Governance, Regulations & Standards
- Oversee all work in alignment with applicable quality, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements, following established SOPs and governance processes; and mitigate and escalate deviations or risks as required.
- Collaborate on the Digital and Automation response for inspections, audits, and assessments by providing accurate documentation, data, and technical input when requested.
- Accountable for identification, documentation, and escalation of cybersecurity and infrastructure risks, including management of exceptions and residual risks.
Architecture, Controls & Cybersecurity Delivery
- Accountable for site-level cybersecurity and network activities in accordance with established Digital and Automation architecture, cybersecurity, and network standards.
- Ensure implementation and execution of approved control strategies and tools to maintain secure and compliant Digital and Automation environments.
- Oversee vulnerability remediation activities, ensuring execution of defined controls and risk mitigation actions.
- Guide cybersecurity planning activities by providing technical input, execution feedback, and documentation in line with approved strategies and standards.
- Coordinate local or global cybersecurity, infrastructure, and Digital & Automation related projects.
Operations, Monitoring & Lifecycle
- Manage day-to-day Digital and Automation infrastructure operations, including proactive monitoring, incident handling, and issue resolution for assigned systems and network components.
- Ensure accurate asset and configuration inventory records for assigned Digital and Automation systems and network components; ensure updates are performed in a timely manner to support lifecycle, cybersecurity, and inspection readiness.
- Oversee and align change management activities for infrastructure and cybersecurity changes, including impact assessments, documentation updates, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Direct software and hardware lifecycle management activities (e.g. patching, upgrades, and end-of-life tasks) following approved plans and change management processes.
- Drive EOSL asset evaluation and prioritization using defined decision frameworks (e.g. EOSL Decision Priority Matrix) to support risk-based lifecycle decisions.
- Ensure alignment of lifecycle activities with annual budget planning and long-term capital planning processes in collaboration with site Digital and Automation financial planning owners.
- Identify and escalate unfunded EOSL risks, ensuring appropriate remediation or mitigation strategies are defined. Support development of site-level infrastructure investment plans by contributing to Site Master Plans and capital planning processes for long-term remediation of EOSL and infrastructure risks in collaboration with site Digital and Automation financial planning owners.
- Monitor site performance against cybersecurity, vulnerability remediation, and EOSL targets using defined dashboards and reporting tools; drive timely remediation actions and escalate gaps as required.
- Ensure all Digital and Automation assets have clearly defined ownership and are accurately maintained in relevant systems (e.g. CMDB) to support governance, reporting, and audit readiness.
Incident, Crisis & Business Continuity
- Lead incident, deviation, recovery activities and escalations to enable secure and timely return-to-service while maintaining data integrity and validated state control.
- Ensure business continuity readiness by managing recovery procedures/playbooks for assigned services and infrastructure and participating in recovery/failover testing or continuity drills as required.
PANS Support
- Supervise PANS-related activities, ensuring configuration baselines are maintained, plant network stability is monitored, and deviations or risks are identified for escalation.
Data Strategy, Standards & Governance
- Lead the development, documentation, and execution of the site end-to-end data strategy in alignment with network direction.
- Drive and reinforce data standards to ensure consistency, integrity, and compliance in how data is structured, stored, and used.
- Ensure data-related work is executed in line with applicable quality, validation, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements, following established SOPs and governance processes.
- Represent site in cross-site standards harmonization reviews, bringing site operational knowledge to inform enterprise model evolution.
System Integration & Data Flow Enablement
- Oversee and support core system integrations, ensuring seamless, secure, and compliant data flow, connectivity and design across system layers.
- Formulate and manage site data enablement roadmap. Develop and execute plans to advance site data maturity, including planning for funding, resources and above site support where required; and mapping to business value enabled for the site.
- Identify and pursue solutions to data connectivity, identifying integration issues, data quality gaps, or performance risks and escalating as required.
- Validate that asset hierarchy, equipment context, process parameters, and batch/lot identifiers are accurately represented in the contextualization layer.
- Lead implementation, configuration, and lifecycle management of site historians and data platforms to enable operational reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement.
- Drive local application development/ rationalization or configuration, including upgrades, enhancements, retirement and connectivity to data sources.
- Maintain accurate asset, configuration, and data mapping documentation to support lifecycle management, validation, and inspection readiness.
- Lead incident, deviation, and recovery activities to ensure timely restoration of services while maintaining data integrity and validated state control.
AI, Analytics & Innovation Enablement
- Partner with site operational, process teams and digital innovation teams to identify and prioritize data-driven use cases, translating business problems into data requirements.
- Enable use of data for analytics, AI, and innovation initiatives by ensuring data availability, reliability, and alignment to defined standards.
- Partner with above site teams to support deployment and scaling of approved digital, analytics, or AI use cases by executing data preparation, integration, and monitoring activities.
- Lead development and deployment of AI tools and agents to support Digital & Automation priorities.
- Promote AI fluency and data citizenship across teams, embedding consistent adoption and best practices.
Leadership and People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop site‑based colleagues and contract resources supporting digital and automation activities.
- Set clear expectations for behaviors, standards, and ways of working, including responsiveness, documentation quality, and delivery of core responsibilities.
- Conduct performance reviews and support capability development across technical, operational, compliance, and problem‑solving areas.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED (Minimum Requirements)
- Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of experience.
- Degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in Digital, Automation, IT systems, or related technical environments, with experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading and developing technical teams, including people management within a matrix team structure.
- Experience managing technical projects, or programs within operational environments.
- Experience with delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile, SDLC, Project/Program Management).
- Knowledge of regulated environments and compliance requirements (e.g., GMP, change management, lifecycle governance).
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions, work independently, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma, ITIL, Agile, or technical certifications) beneficial.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $139,100.00 to $231,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
