Histology Technologist – Laboratory –Per Diem

In this role, the Histology Technologist will perform routine and special histology functions including tissue processing, embedding, cutting, cover slipping, routine and special staining, quality control, record keeping, etc.

This is a Per Diem day shift position working 4:00 am - 7:45 am. Location is our NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital campus in Cortlandt Manor/Upper Westchester County, NY.

Required Criteria

• NYS license as a Histotechnologist or Clinical Laboratory Technologist .
• Meets current NYS requirements for Histotechnologist.
• AAS in laboratory related field, ASCP in Histotechnology or equivalent. 
• Ability to perform careful, accurate laboratory tests using prescribed techniques with reasonable speed
