1. Position Justification
This staffing request is for a new Maintenance Engineer position to support daily manufacturing operations and ensure equipment reliability, availability, and performance.
Major Responsibilities
Execute routine preventive maintenance (PM) activities to ensure stable equipment operation.
Troubleshoot equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
Improve equipment reliability and sustain long-term equipment capability.
Enhance equipment software and hardware to meet evolving production requirements.
Assess potential equipment risks and develop contingency and mitigation plans.
Develop, maintain, and standardize maintenance procedures, repair methods, and troubleshooting documentation.
Provide engineering support to manufacturing, process engineering, and continuous improvement teams.
Apply Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to support production and equipment troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and uphold Qnity core values in daily operations.
2. Qualifications
Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, with knowledge of PLC and HMI systems.
Strong documentation, computer, and presentation skills.
Intermediate English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to support holiday shifts (approximately once every two months) and occasional night-shift assignments (approximately once per year).
