Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electronic and control systems onboard the drillship. The ET should have strong hands-on experience with Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems, including DP-related equipment, controls, alarms, sensors and interfaces, as well as previous experience supporting DP FMEA trials, including testing and verification of system redundancy and failure responses.
