Human Resources Manager

About the role

You will run human resources for the company: recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, HR policies, attendance and team engagement. You will also oversee office administration, filing, information security and company assets, with the support of the admin team.

What you will do

Recruitment and onboarding

• Run the full recruitment process for all roles: job description, sourcing, interviews, hiring and onboarding
• Coordinate interviews with department heads
• Prepare contracts and offers
• Run onboarding for new joiners, including induction, system access and equipment
• Keep an active pool of candidates and freelancers for each department
• Plan staffing needs with department heads

Performance

• Run the performance evaluation system across all departments
• Support managers with evaluations, KPIs and targets
• Follow up on underperformance and improvement plans
• Organise mid-year and annual reviews

HR policies and compliance

• Keep the employee handbook, HR procedures and policies up to date
• Make sure the company follows labour law in the markets where it operates
• Handle disciplinary matters and employee concerns fairly and confidentially
• Keep personnel files complete, accurate and secure

Leave, attendance and payroll

• Manage leave balances, benefits and attendance tracking
• Send payroll inputs to Finance accurately and on time

Team culture and development

• Organise team engagement activities and training programmes
• Help resolve conflicts between team members

Administration, filing and assets

• Oversee day-to-day office administration, supplies, maintenance and service providers
• Make sure company files are named, filed and archived correctly
• Manage access to company systems and information security procedures, including NDAs
• Keep the register of company assets and make sure items are assigned and returned

What we are looking for

• 5 or more years of experience in human resources, including recruitment and performance management
• Good knowledge of Lebanese labour law (knowledge of Gulf labour regulations is a plus)
• Experience writing and applying HR policies and procedures
• Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information
• Organised, with strong follow-up and reporting skills
• Fluent Arabic and English
• A degree in human resources, business administration or a related field
