Job Description:

Overview:
The company is looking for an Accounting Bookkeeper to manage and maintain financial records, prepare payroll, handle tax returns, and other accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Required Qualifications:

• Languages: English
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting
• Experience: 2–3 years in accounting or finance

Skills and Experience:

• Accounting Software: QuickBooks, Caseware/Caseview
• Office Software: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows
• Database Software: MS Office, Spreadsheet
• Additional Equipment: Scanner
