What You'll Do
- Manage product certification and ensure regulatory alignment for gaming products.
- Act as the compliance overseer, handling submissions for UL, CSA, FCC, CE, and RCM requirements.
- Maintain submission documents and compliance records meticulously.
- Communicate effectively with certification bodies and third-party test laboratories.
- Acquire quotations and raise purchase orders, monitoring their progress.
- Coordinate product samples and testing activities to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor schedules, assess risks, and track open actions rigorously.
- Provide accurate status updates to the business, ensuring transparency and clarity.
- Work closely with engineers to understand technical challenges and progress them on your own.
- Challenge or clarify information to ensure practical resolution rather than merely relaying messages.
- Build a comprehensive knowledge of electrical regulations and handle certification procedures until they are concluded.
- Independently coordinate smaller innovation or hardware-related projects in the United States during periods of available capacity.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in managing product certification and fulfilling compliance requirements.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Technical capability to understand and address engineering issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to engage and work effectively with engineers and other collaborators.
- Diligent and highly organized, with detailed record-keeping abilities.
- Experience in handling submissions for regulatory requirements such as UL, CSA, FCC, CE, and RCM.
- Capability to watch over schedules, detect risks, and keep a strict record of actions.
- Familiarity with electrical regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
- Ambitious and driven to successfully implement projects and drive them to completion.
