HVAC Manager - Greenville

Overview

You love helping people with their HVAC systems, but you’re ready to get out of the field and start coaching others.

How would you like to be our HVAC Manager?

Your Role  

As HVAC Manager: 

• You’ll work directly with field technicians to manage day-to-day operations. Our Greenville location is new and growing. We need someone to lead our HVAC department to make sure things are organized and efficient, and that every technician is getting what they need to do the best work possible!
• You’ll work with Dispatch to oversee the schedule board and capacity. You’re organized and great at managing resources. In this case, HVAC technicians and installers are the resource! You’ll make sure we’re able to stay on top of demand so we can continue to support our customers when they need us most.
• You’ll prepare tech meetings. We have weekly meetings to make sure everyone is in the loop about new information, and this includes technical training. You will prepare and run the weekly meetings for HVAC Service Technicians and Installers.
• You’ll have one-on-one meetings with field technicians and send out daily game plans to the team. When communication is clear, everything runs a lot better. You’ll make sure everyone gets the information they need!

• You’ve got at least a couple years of residential HVAC experience. You’re no stranger to air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, gas packs, mini splits, and more! Even if you loved your time working in the field, you’re ready to take on more of a leadership role.
• You’re energetic and decisive! You don’t like sitting back and watching other people get into all the action without you. You like to jump in and get things done! You also know how to focus on multiple tasks at once without getting easily overwhelmed.
• You’re a dreamer and you love reaching for the stars. Because our Greenville location is new, there’s a ton of room for growth and development. You’re the kind of person who wants to build something amazing from the ground up, and you’ll encourage and lead our HVAC team!
• You’re a people-person who loves leading. You’re charismatic and know how to get people hyped up! You always seem to know the right words to inspire people to be their best.

Qualifications

Stuff HR Wants You to Know

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed HVAC in SC
• At least 1 years of HVAC management experience
• At least 2 years of residential HVAC experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to devise creative solutions, exercise independent judgment, and make appropriate decisions
• Keen ability to work accurately, efficiently, and manage multiple tasks
• Committed adherence and enforcement of the company’s core values and core purpose
• Basic computer skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language
• Valid local driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Acceptable criminal background record
• Abstinence from drugs with clean drug screening results
• Reliable and punctual attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed HVAC in NC, SC

• Additional years of management experience in the HVAC or similar trade

• Prior management experience successfully leading and overseeing a team of 10+ direct/indirect reports
