Job Description Summary

Lead the Master Data Management team for the Balance of Turbine (BOT) Segment. This role defines, governs, and continuously improves the master data foundation that enables accurate, reliable, and compliant supply planning across the entire organization. It ensures that all planning-relevant data are complete, correct, and maintained with discipline. It provides a single source of truth and eliminates data-driven planning failures. It accelerates new product introduction while proactively managing phase-out and obsolescence risk.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • MDM team is responsible for the Item Master Maintenance for all BOT materials in Oracle Alpha and SAP PMX
  • Work closely with Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Finance and Materials Management to support the function with quick update of critical parameters and ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Work with IT and other GE functions to implement new processes to make data maintenance easier and more efficient
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, finding gaps and low-hanging fruits, providing ideas and solutions, involving cross-functional resources.
  • Design and implement processes for data maintenance based on business requirements
  • Drive measurements and KPIs to improve data quality and processes around data integrity
  • Deliver on time and with high level of accuracy all the KPI reports and metrics with respect to Service and Inventory management
  • Behave and provide guidance and assistance as supply chain expert, understanding connection, impacts and implications between data, processes and operations.
  • Support Central Facilitator/Co-Facilitator role
  • Assure item, sourcing and supplier data integrity in Oracle
  • Run regular reports about item attributes
  • Ad hoc reports based on management request
  • Controlling Business processes
  • Lead, coach and supervise MDM Specialists
  • Active participation on mandatory EHS trainings and events.
  • Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the immediate leader/manager assigns with verbally or in writing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Fluent English language knowledge
  • Significant experience in manufacturing / supply chain
  • Experience specifically in material planning / scheduling function

  • APICS certifications (CPIM and/or CSCP)
