Intro

Carbmee builds the System of Action for carbon and environmental data in the world's most complex industrial sectors: automotive, defense, heavy manufacturing. Backed by €20M Series A, growing fast out of Berlin and Munich.

We're looking for a Fullstack Engineer who treats the codebase like a product, not a ticket queue. You should be equally comfortable in React/Next.js, NestJS, Python, and PostgreSQL.

This is not a maintenance role. We're a small engineering team solving genuinely hard data and integration problems for enterprise customers who don't tolerate sloppy software. If you want to ship fast, own outcomes, and work with people who studied and worked at the top of their field, this is your kind of place.

Your tasks

• Build and ship end-to-end features across the stack (React/Next.js, NestJS, Python, PostgreSQL)
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to solve real customer problems
• Own your work - from idea to deployment and beyond
• Sit with product and customers directly: you're expected to have opinions on what we build, not just how
• Work on a service-oriented architecture deployed on AWS
• Bring your ideas, challenge assumptions, and shape our technical direction with the team
• (If senior) Mentor others and help us raise the engineering bar

Your profile

• CS degree from a top university: you've been trained to think rigorously about complex problems
• 3+ years shipping production B2B SaaS software, not just personal projects or bootcamp portfolios
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript/React and Node.js or Python
• Solid grasp of relational databases and cloud infra (AWS)
• Evidence of ownership: a side project, an OSS contribution, a system you built and are proud of: not just a job history
• You ask "why" before "how," and you've pushed back on a product decision before
