Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Bristol, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or designated areas to help control access, verify credentials when required, and support established visitor management practices.
• Support a professional environment within a technology-focused location by communicating clearly with staff and guests, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
