Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Administrator to manage, maintain, and support enterprise SAP BusinessObjects Data Services environments. The candidate should possess strong hands-on administration experience across installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of BODS landscapes. Experience supporting business-critical production environments and collaborating with infrastructure, database, and application teams is essential.
5–10 years of relevant experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) Administration.



Roles & Responsibilities:
-SAP BODS Administrator is the role.
- Install, configure, and administer SAP BusinessObjects Data Services environments across Development, QA, and Production.
- Configure and maintain Job Servers, Access Servers, repositories, and related BODS components.
- Administer Central Management Console (CMC) and Data Services Management Console (DSMC).
- Create, maintain, back up, restore, and migrate local and central repositories.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot job failures, and ensure high system availability.
- Perform performance tuning of BODS jobs and administration components.
- Manage users, roles, authorizations, and LDAP/Active Directory integration.
- Coordinate with Basis, Database, OS, and Network teams for infrastructure-related activities.
- Support disaster recovery planning, backup validation, and system health checks.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and administration runbooks.
- Support SAP RISE or cloud migration activities where applicable.
- Administer and maintain user roles, groups, and repository assignments across Development, QA, and Production environments, ensuring appropriate access control and governance.


Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services Administration.
- Experience with BODS installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
- Expertise in CMC, Data Services Management Console, and Repository Manager.
- Knowledge of Job Server, Access Server, AL Engine, and repository architecture.
- Experience with Windows/Linux server administration related to BODS deployments.
- Good understanding of Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, or other relational databases.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M or equivalent is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects platform administration is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Good to have Skills:

- Experience with SAP RISE migration projects.
- Experience with BODS on RISE


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
