About the role

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Technology Support Specialist to provide end-user computing support across our generation sites. This role is essential to maintaining operational continuity, resolving technical issues, and ensuring safety and compliance across all locations. You’ll work closely with internal teams and contractors to deliver timely solutions and support.

This position is based at Bayswater Power Station.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver remote and onsite EUC support to ensure smooth site operations.

• Escort and supervise contractors onsite, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

• Execute and oversee site processes in line with company standards.

• Support network infrastructure including servers and switches.

• Apply and uphold HSE processes to maintain a safe working environment.

• Manage tech assets and spares, including criticality assessments.

• Travel to remote sites to provide hands-on technical support.

• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and contractors.

• Manage ITSM tickets and contribute to service performance reporting.

About You

• Experience in EUC support and/or service desk support.

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, managing time effectively to deliver results.

• A valid driver’s license and experience driving in rural areas.

• ITSM experience and understanding of service management processes.

• Understanding of cyber security principles.

• A commitment to safety and role modelling safe work practices.
