The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a scientific expert and strategic partner to healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders within Oncology. This field-based role focuses on building trusted scientific relationships, facilitating scientific exchange, and supporting medical education to improve patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging healthcare professionals through peer-to-peer scientific discussions
• Providing balanced and evidence-based medical information
• Gathering medical insights to support medical strategy and clinical development
• Supporting clinical research activities and collaborations with investigators
• Maintaining deep expertise in disease areas, clinical data, and emerging scientific developments

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree in a medical or life science discipline and has experience in oncology, clinical practice, pharmaceutical research, or medical affairs. Strong scientific communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills are essential.

Basic Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical practice, research, or medical affairs.
• Knowledge of Oncology and clinical research principles.
• Strong communication and scientific exchange skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
• Field medical experience is preferred.

On-site Protocol

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
